A few days later, after discovering that August was trying to see Marlena, Jacob visited him in his hotel room. It turns out that Jacob and Marlena married and had five children, spending the first seven years with another circus before Jacob got a job at a zoo veterinarian. Marlena is dead, discovered some years earlier, Jacob had been a nursing home. When you find that no one comes to him for the elderly Jacob goes to the circus itself. Soon he will meet with director Charlie and wake up to the circus with the sale of tickets. Charlie agrees, and Jacob is convinced he had finally come home.
